Nonna and Oma met more than 40 years ago in upstate New York. They came from two different worlds, Italy and Germany, yet shared the same love for cooking, entertaining, and bringing people together.
Their kitchens were more than places to prepare meals; they were gathering spaces where traditions mingled, recipes were exchanged, and memories were made.
After Oma’s passing in 2023, Nonna’s heart carried both the weight of loss and the reminder of how precious true connection is. Inspired by their bond, Angela created Nonna & Oma’s at Crossgates Mall as a place where that spirit of friendship lives on.
Today, the store celebrates local and regional food makers, specialty flavors, and the tools that help keep people gathering around the table.
Nonna & Oma’s is more than a shop; it is a growing community. Our hope is to inspire future traditions, spark new friendships, and give you every excuse to gather with loved ones.
