William Morris (1834-1896) was an artist, designer, activist, and a founder of the Arts and Crafts movement. Opposed to the low-quality mass-produced products resulting from the Industrial Revolution, Morris & Co., created fine hand-crafted goods. Best known for their wallpapers, his hugely successful studio made artisanal home décor items.

Inspired by the English countryside, Tulip and Willow features scrolling willow branches woven through with fanciful tulips in full bloom.
